Although, I don't know if you caught this, sung by Echo and the Bunnymen.

No one remembers your name When you're strange, when you're strange

Again, another like super 80s cut.

Yeah, it's an Echo and the Bunnymen cover of Jim Morrison.

But of course, that takes you back.

And it's a really interesting choice to have a quintessentially 80s band remake, a quintessentially 60s song, because this movie is about youth culture, but it's not entirely clear about which youth culture, right? And that's kind of what's wonderful about towns like Santa Cruz, at least until recently.

And it does make you wonder about the ones which never made it.

My last choice might be obvious to you as a pick from me, but I don't know.

I'm going with Killing Moon from Echo and the Bunnymen.

That's not what I did here.

It's definitely a cover.

And a band that maybe, again, ahead of their time or doesn't get enough because a lot of the stuff I listen to is great by them, the Echo and the Bunnymen.

It's a good band.

And I think what the end result is I absorbed all of this.

So everything from Echo and the Bunnymen to Led Zet to, you know, Reggae, Marley, Black Uhuru, those kind of bands.

And I sort of melded it into what became my drumming style.

And were drums your first instrument? Yeah, always.

He just hit them very sweetly.

Keith Moon's great.

I, yeah, like him a lot, but I think what I don't always talk about and what doesn't always get applauded, so people like Pete De Freitas from Echo and the Bunnymen, Budgie from Susie and the Banshees.

I really love Matt Cameron.

I think it's called, um, And the tone is completely different.

That song is far more upbeat and happy and joyous and doesn't really set the tone for the film like Killing Moon does by Echo and the Bunnymen.

And the irony is they still play it in the director's cut later in the scene, kind of a chopped up and altered version.

But I just thought, if you're going to do this again, why not just pay for the rights for the music again? And even if the studio wasn't going to do that, why wouldn't the director do that why would you change it why would you make that alteration i i don't know i don't know because it it really i think that is it's too iconic a needle drop to change all the other music is i think the same i don't think there's any any issue with with that and again they do use it later on in an altered fashion so i just thought why not Put your hand in your pocket and use the right track.

I love the band.
