And it's basically like, for me, it's... acid is like it means a few things like the feeling in the back of your throat when you're just like a combination of revved up sort of angry anxious like just taste you taste it you know it's like this feeling that i can't describe and then also the sentiment of a battery that has acid and i kind of turned myself into this like energizer bunny that never gives up you know like no matter what life throws at me the battery never depletes
so this record is kind of that it's like this it's a bit of a high energy yeah almost like a rebirth I think of myself and uh embracing who I was in the past um because I'm 12 years sober so embracing that old side of me that really lived life to the fullest and to the extreme and then embracing this new side of me which is like I'm finally comfortable in who I am and I'm a mum and I'm in my 40s and I'm like you know what like I our generation was I got told I was too old when I was in my 20s and I had to lie about my age I got told I couldn't be gay I couldn't like show be seen with my girlfriend at the time like all that sort of stuff and now I'm like at this calm sort of center in my life where like I don't feel any of those things anymore I just I just don't care like that I'm just like I just want to do my thing and like make music and and you know yeah share this journey anyway yeah so this is the long blurb for my what my record is like awesome yeah so
