Bomb the Bass

Thank you so much to Brian for asking for that on Facebook.

And for John in Chorley, Lancashire, when did you last hear this? Bomb the Bass and Winter in July.

Look around, wonder why.

We can live a life that's never satisfied.

Um, but hopefully, in any case, if you're not so familiar with the festival and what they've been doing, this conversation with Maciej will, uh, will inspire you because I think it- to me, it sounds like what they're doing is really fantastic.

Um, so much that we get into talking about, so many anecdotes, talking about Swans coming to Poland back in the, the '80s, talking about Depeche Mode, talking about Mute Records, Bomb the Bass.

I mean, just so many stories.

Even after, um, I've cut the recording, we carried on talking.

You know him?

No.

Bomb the Bass guy, the Depeche Mode producer.

Ah, right, yes, of course.

Yeah

... that, uh, that people like Massive Attack, uh, Pet Shop Boys, uh, Bomb the Bass.

There's a whole, there was a whole movement of people breaking down who just got sick of that four dudes in the same jacket up against the wall kind of thing.

Yeah.
