The Cry 0f A Heart That Has Encountered God Part 2

Send us Fan Mail **The Cry of a Heart That Has Encountered God, Part 2** In this inspirational episode, Wilfred continues the series on how an encounter with God reshapes what a Christian desires, pursues, and lives for. He centres the message on Jeremiah’s grief in the face of Judah’s sin and judgment, then connects that burden to the compassion of Jesus and the call for Christians to carry God’s heart for souls. The episode is a spiritual exhortation on repentance, intercession, revival, and love for others. Wilfred challenges listeners to examine what makes them cry and whether their tears reflect eternal concerns or temporary ones. Key topics Wilfred returns to Jeremiah 8 :18 to 22 and Jeremiah 9:1 to show the sorrow of a prophet who could not ignore the spiritual condition of his people. He describes Jeremiah as the weeping prophet whose pain came from seeing Judah pursue idols, foreign gods, and disobedience. He applies Jeremiah’s burden to modern believers, asking why Christians can remain silent while moral decline, family breakdown, and spiritual apathy spread. He emphasizes that true servants of God cannot watch souls drift away without being moved personally. He repeatedly asks, “What makes you cry?” and frames that question as a spiritual test of what a person values most. He contrasts tears over money, success, and material concerns with tears for lost souls, revival, and the kingdom of God. He points to Jesus weeping over Jerusalem in Luke 19:41 and at Lazarus’ tomb in John 11:35 as examples of holy compassion. He teaches that spiritual maturity is measured less by how much we know about God and more by how deeply we feel what God feels. Wilfred calls believers to pray for the lost, the sick, pastors, churches, families, neighbours, and communities with a renewed burden for revival. He closes with a prayer for brokenness, compassion, courage, and fresh fire from the Holy Spirit. Please, share this episode with friends, colleagues and family to spread the blessings of God.
