Week ending 7/17/26 A Child is Born

But we are here to talk about General Hospital, of course.

Beyond the Gates, YNR, and Bold and the Beautiful are all out audio and video.

They're out there.

Lauren St. Victor, friend of the show, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor and part of the writing team of Bold and the Beautiful, came through and talked to us for a while and he gave us some really good insights on how he handles his character's inconsistencies.

And he basically said, it's not my place to judge the character.

If my family does not show up on the show, I play it as, why aren't they showing up on the show? Why am I not talking? He flips the script on it.

He goes, well, you're it.

He goes, why is Carter always falling in love? Why is everybody selling the love of his life? He flips it as, that's Carter's immature, so he falls in love.

The way he talked about it, I was like, I'm

in.

I'm in.

He just, he says stuff sometimes, because he's a writer on the show, too, so he says stuff like, like he said, and Frank, in this world, you can have multiple miscarriages.

In this world, you get married 20 times.

In this world, you know, in a way, it's like, I get what he's saying is that this is all fantasy, obviously.

And he acknowledges in his own diplomatic way, The show goes up and down.

So that's how he does that.

So it's a great little interview.

So thanks to Anika Noel last week.

Thanks to him this week.

We love our bold people.

Thank you very much.

I am working on some folks with GH, of course.

And so don't worry, though.

We'll get them on here.

We always do.
