Carolyn is a distinguished professor and director of clinical psychology at Ph.D. program at Alliant University and council representative and journal editorial board member of the American Psychological Association Trauma Division 56.

Past positions include program director for the Military Sexual Trauma and Interpersonal Trauma Clinic and the Advanced Fellowship in Women's Health at the Veterans Affairs and University of California, San Diego, as well as president of Division 56.

So for over 20 years, Carolyn has conducted evidence-based trauma-focused therapy and research.

And joined with Fred, his mentee and now colleague, Dr. Sean Davis.

He's a distinguished professor in the Couple and Family Therapy program at Alliant International University, the Sacramento campus.

He's also an LMFT in California, an AAMFT-approved supervisor, and a clinical fellow of the AAMFT.

He earned his BA and MS in Family Studies and MFT from Brigham Young, his PhD under Fred at Virginia Tech, that we'll talk a lot about today, and completed his post-doctoral training right down the road from me, the University of Kentucky.
