Willie, when you're waiting for years and years and years for just competence, you know, just for competitiveness, the main thing about getting Harbaugh to me as a Giants fan was, if you look at Baltimore, if you look at Pittsburgh, Harbaugh and Tomlin had those teams ready to go week in and week out, year in and year out.
Yeah, I, I think, you know, one of the things that the Giants did in getting John Harbaugh, they needed somebody who can usher the franchise forward, man, and they needed guys in that locker room to grow up, especially Jackson Dart, especially Cam Skattebo.
And they had to figure out, if we wanna get John Harbaugh and he's gonna force this group to grow up, what does that look like? And I think we witnessed it tonight.
They wanna play a black and blue brand of football, man, that, that's not only complementary to who he is and what he brings to the table, but what his, what his resume and what his, and what his legacy looks like.
You know, I've, I was fortunate enough to play against the Baltimore Ravens where he was the head coach, man.
You didn't sleep the night before, 'cause you know your manhood was gonna be tested.
And even you didn't hand out tickets to your family, because you know you, you was gonna, you was gonna get h- you was gonna get hurt.
And so I think he came to New York with the mindset, "I wanna bring that to New York.
