Fuzzy BelvedereGuestanyway, Fuzzy, Belvedere.
Lots been going on, man.
Lots been going on.
posting spree lately, uh, with new Xbox divisions.
So before we get into this other things, uh, new new divisions being started up like everybody's like xbox is going under xbox is this xbox is that oh they're just making the moves to phase out you don't announce brand new divisions if you're going away you know first off was her first post last week was xp
Um, which is, remember we talked about this numerous times, fuzz about them wanting to, uh, be the number one, um, in entertainment, um, Uh, not just game.
We, we talked about this.
We called this out like about, you know, them trying to make big plays here.
Uh, so Asha's tweet, this was a week ago.
So today we announced XP, a new Xbox division that will help grow our great games and experiences beyond the games themselves.
Um, and yeah, The XP stands for Xbox Pictures, Xbox Products, Xbox Places, and Xbox Partnerships.
And heading this division is the former head of Mojang.
So it's going to be spanning film and television, consumer products, strategic partnerships, and live experiences.
So the live experiences, I'm curious if that just entails to their events or the showcases and stuff like that, or if that transcends into other things, possibly.
But yeah, they have... gone full force into making sure these franchises are going big with transmedia, products, all these other kind of things, which is something that has kind of started to stray over the last... six seven years i would six seven six or seven years or so um you still have all the minecraft shit out there everywhere tons of minecraft stuff very popular but we've seen less halo things you know you've seen less like out there with like toys and all this other kind of stuff you've seen less deals and and promotional stuff so do you think uh this is part of the, I think I see this like new Xbox taking shape under Asha, like with strategically making these kinds of moves.
And I think they're going to be making sure that these big franchises that they have are pushed in numerous different ways, not just advertising for the game.
So how did you see this XP announcement?

I like that they're still doing collector's editions with the game, or at least the game codes and things like that.
