This is the 81st anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, the dropping of the first atomic bomb by the United States, killing 140,000 people.

Three days from now on Sunday, will be the anniversary of the dropping of the second bomb on Nagasaki, which killed another 80,000 people.

This is the 220,000 people that were killed during this period by the United States.

I raise this in the context of the UFO issue that we're talking about here today for reasons that I'll set forth below.

The Trump administration has now acknowledged that they have spent over $38 million in the Iran war.

This is judged by virtually all of the legal experts to be a dramatic understatement of the cost of the war so far.

They're anticipating that there's over $1 trillion has been expended in military ordnance, in man hours, in the medical costs and things over this period.

He's now asking for an additional $68 billion to be supplemental to the budget for the military, for the Defense Department.

This has resulted in the holding up of the approval of the National Defense Authorization Act by the United States Senate.

They are challenging this demand for the 68 billion additional dollars, arguing that the approval of this by the United States Senate would be in effect an endorsement of the war, which has been denied by a vote of both houses of the Congress.

Under the War Powers Act of 1973, they have declared that President Trump has initiated this war with no authorization from Congress, and they refuse to engage in any action that would be deemed to be such an authorization.

At the same time, the House has inserted into this National Defense Authorization Act on the House side a bill, an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act authored by Congressman Eric Burleson, who's a member of the House Oversight Committee.

He's inserted into the House version of the National Defense Authorization Act an Amendment 97 calling upon the president to appoint a nine-person board of review to review all of the information that is in the possession of the executive branch relating to the UFO phenomenon, and that that membership of that review panel would have to be approved by the Congress.

This is all in response to the effort on the part of Pete Hegseth and the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Ratcliffe,

Director of National Intelligence, At that time, it was Bill Pulte to appoint a completely executive branch controlled review board that would have no role whatsoever on the part of Congress in approving the membership.

And that would have been a complete capture of the disclosure process by the executive branch.

Almost certainly, as we reviewed in an earlier podcast here, that that would be made up of the heads of the executive branch agencies that have been historically involved in concealing and lying about the UFO phenomenon.

the head of the FBI, the head of the CIA, the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the head of the National Security Agency, the head of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency and others would head up that all executive branch review agency and continue to suppress the information.

So this effort on the part of Congressman Burleson is the effort on the part of the House of Representatives to secure the review of the appointment of any such review commission to be reviewed and approved by or rejected by the Congress of the United States.
