Ben Edwards: The voice of motorsport and his career in cars!

Yeah.

Wasn't Lewis utterly brilliant?

He did a fantastic job.

No, he did a really, really good job.

And his use of tyres in races and stuff in the past has often been a really good move.

And yes, going for that slightly different strategy and then working it so well in the latter stages.

Yeah, it was a great shame that qualifying hadn't gone well for him.

That was that little incident.

I know.

I know.

How great was that overtake round turn, whatever it is, when he overtook George? Oh, my God.

Yeah.

Right

on the outside.

I mean...

Incredible.

He's still got it, hasn't he? Very much so.

Yeah, and what a way as well to obviously sort of sign off, you know, in terms of sort of leaving that team and whatnot.

I mean, what a way to actually sort of, I think it was a reminder, wasn't it, to everybody? You know, while Lando and McLaren quite rightly sort of stole all the headlines yesterday, it was a little bit like, I'm still here, you know, and I'm still an incredible driver.

And he's so close to that video.

In a way, it was a shame he didn't get a final podium for Mercedes in his last run.

But it was still so impressive that, yeah, you're absolutely right in getting past George like that.

I mean, fantastic and a great way to end it because he's been through a bit of a tough patch, hasn't he? You know, coming in this last part of the year.

It has been a tough patch.

He's not been happy with the feel of the car.
