He made three, and this was the last drop.

Never realized that.

This is the one that killed it.

It's funny that I

had to ask whose career this

killed.

We're going to talk about it because he's kind of like a big part of my

research for this

one.

After this movie, the only jobs he could get were uncredited script doctor jobs.

He worked on... let me see, Fred Decker, um, script doctor movies.

Let me see.

Um, he worked on stuff like, um, demolition man.

Um, um which i'm like oh yeah that makes sense you know like

yeah yeah like now that you when you

hear it you can hear it you know yeah right right right

and you know it you can hear it

right um and a few other things that are more recent than that uh that i'm having trouble finding where i saw has he even even oh there

like did he direct like before

uh yeah lethal weapon for um the

jet

yeah uh yeah so you asked did he did he do any like master for no he's direct he directed an episode of tales from the crypt okay um but that was before this uh so he was like working on tales from the crypt when he got this

offer

but um Yeah, I'll circle back on that later.

I feel

like he could have directed a really good Stranger Things episode.

Yeah, probably.

I also think he probably could have done a pretty good MCU movie.

Like a Joe

Johnson kind of career revival.

For sure.

I think that there's something there that he could have done.

But most recently, he co-wrote The Predator with his buddy Shane Black.

That's right.

Yes.

Yeah.

I think I saw that.

I mean, I remember like seeing his name on the credits because I watched that movie kind of recently, actually last year.

But I didn't know that he was in that deep of exile.

So I was just like, oh, hey, Fred Decker.

Yeah, that was literally his first onscreen credit in 30 years.

That's a damn shame.

Yeah.

It's kind of crazy.

Um,

yeah, he, uh, yeah.

So his, his career completely like fell apart, um, after this movie and because of this movie.

Uh, and there's a lot of things that go into that, which we'll talk about.
