I definitely understand time flies when you're having fun at a great brand like KFC.

So, you know, KFC has an enormous personality and just the most recognizable founder probably around.

So tell us maybe what was one of your favorite things you worked on, especially during that comeback period at KFC?

And so to be able to work with Reba and media train with her and prep her for our interviews was one of those pinch yourself moments.

When we made extra crispy fried chicken scented sunscreen and broke the website and the internet for a brief bit over that, that was another really memorable moment, mostly because it was one of the first things we did of that kind.

And just the ability to see when you have a fun idea and it's really authentic to your brand and people can get excited about it, the capability of how quickly word can spread, how much it can elevate your brand and start to move brand metrics.

You know, that's so interesting because, as you said, staying authentic to your brand is so important.

Well, I think there's a few different pieces, but there has to be a why.

Like, why should people care about it? You know, it has to matter to the audience.

When I think about and evaluate what ideas we have or what we're working on, I first think about why should people care? Why is this interesting? Would I read this or why would our audience care about it? And then I think about, OK, how is this driving our business strategy or how is this working toward the goal? When I was in the agency side, we talked a lot about, OK, how do we launch this product? How do we get attention or how do we get people to care about something? When I came to KFC, the real shift was how do we solve a business problem? And we were part of a team.
