It’s Sunday night and the trio are back! What a weekend of FPL action to digest… Louis, like a phoenix rising from the ashes of his no Bruno team, storms to the top of the pile! Meanwhile, Laurence…
Hello, and welcome to Season 3, Episode 4 of FPL Flush.
My name is Lewis, and I'm joined this evening by Lawrence and Tony, a.k.a. Captain Hindsight.
Gentlemen, how are we this evening?
I think at this point we should say that Lawrence should get an a.k.a., which we'll get to a bit later on.
I'm good.
Norwich won, and that's always a good start to the weekend, and everything's gone pretty well.
Yeah, I'm good as well, thank you.
I had some friends come over on Friday night into Worksworth for the first time, so we went out, had a couple of beers.
Deciding to end the night on a double whisky and a double vermouth, though, was probably the wrong plan.
Yeah, Saturday I was a little bit worse for wear, but feeling all good and excited about tonight's pod.
Good, good.
I have had a very good week on FPL, so I am quite happy.
the Villa didn't lose also so that's another bonus and we are looking like maybe we're going to start making some progress maybe hopefully beat Forest next weekend maybe I don't know
Just for the listeners, we have a little team screen up and last week while we were recording the pod, I don't think we saw Lewis' face once.
He basically just recorded the pod with his head down almost on the table.
We can see his face and he's smiling, he's buzzing as we're going to get on with the league.
You might even be able to hear it in his voice.
He is a much happier person this week.
I've got the lights on, I've done my
hair.
You were actually sitting in the dark last week, actually.
You were
literally sitting
in the dark.
Didn't spend my prep with my head on my hand.
Sorry, didn't do the prep with my head in my hands as I was waiting for us to get started.
Yeah, it's been, it's a much different week this week.
Much different.
Well done.
Looking forward to getting into it.
Yeah,
it's great.
Cool.
