ALL THINGS BABY: LINKED ON SHOPMY…
Victoria AlarioHost
I didn't, I did not feel the way people were making me feel like I was supposed to feel.

Not that it didn't feel real, but it never, like, hit me like, "Oh my God, it's my wedding day." I feel like because I went to the church a bunch of times where the ceremony was, like, we had to go there all year for our wedding prep.

So, like, I went to the church a bunch of times, and then same for the venue.

Then we went back to do, like, our menu meeting where we, like, decided everything that was gonna be served at cocktail hour and at dinner and the whole thing.

So, like, we went to the v- oh, and then I went to the venue again to bring everything for the wedding, like, all my own, like, DIY kind of stuff.

So I went to the church and the wedding at, uh, and the hall at least five times each.

So it wasn't like, "Okay," like, "I booked this place, and I'll see you again in a few months at the wedding." Like, I feel like I went so many times that, like, going there again never felt like something new, you know? It just felt like another day going to these places.

Like, I was just all in on the wedding, um, and I got to be really in the moment and really present, which is what everyone should feel that day.

Your mind should not be in 5 million places, and you shouldn't be so psyched out of, like, this is so surreal, this is so surreal that, like, you lose sight that, like, it actually is happening.

Like, it's so quick to be like, "Oh my God, is this really happening?" That, like, you forget that, yes, like, it is happening, so just embrace it and be present.
