So I just got back from a camping trip just yesterday.
I was actually fishing this beautiful, like, marshy area for largemouth, shallow water.
Saw a lot of nature, caught a few fish.
It wasn't the best fishing trip of all time, but I did see a lot of nature, a lot of, like, interesting things.
I did see some gar.
I saw some bowfin.
That was pretty cool.
Mm-hmm.
But I also saw a lot of nature, like a lot of great blue herons.
But one of the coolest things that I saw was a beaver.
And I know that if you fish in Ontario, a beaver is something you probably see on the regular.
They always are interesting to see.
I remember a few weeks ago, me and Andrew were fishing this back lake, and we saw this beaver just sitting in the lily pads.
Mm-hmm.
It was almost like it was sitting like a human on the bottom, and its head was just sticking out of the, just above the lily pads, and it was just chewing on a stick for, like, half an hour.
[laughs]
Legitimately, and I even mentioned to Jesse at the time, like, "Is that a capybara?" Like, you know how-
Yeah
... you see them in the zoo, and they're just, like, sitting in the water with just their head up, like, cooling down?
Yeah.
That's what this thing was doing.
We could hear it, like, chewing the lily pad roots like... [laughs]
Every time I see one, I'm like, "Oh, look, a beaver," 'cause my brother-in-law-
[laughs]
