Jesus Is Bigger Than Sin
Grace reaches those who think they’re disqualified.
In fact, you will always feel like something is missing in your life as long as someone is missing, and it's Jesus Christ himself.
And a lot of times we will live life trying to fulfill that void, trying to complete that void.
And a lot of times the world will say, well, if you accomplish this, or if you get this, or you acquire this, then you'll feel like a complete person.
If I could just get that job promotion or that car or if my kids would act right, then I'd be complete.
Or maybe you're a young person and you go, if I could just make the varsity team or the starting lineup or if I could just get invited to sit at the cool table at lunch, then I'd be complete.
Maybe you're single this morning, and you desire to get married, and you go, man, if that person I like would like me back, then they would, you know, Jerry Maguire, complete me.
It's never enough because here's what's true is you will always feel like something is missing in your life as long as someone is missing is Jesus Christ.
There's 8.4 billion people alive in the world today and everyone asks the one basic question of life.
And I want you to see this in the scriptures, that Jesus truly is the most valuable treasure there is.
In Matthew chapter 13, starting in verse 44, Matthew 13 in context is known as the parable chapter.
And a lot of people go, well, what are parables? Parables is a story that uses earthly things to teach a heavenly truth.
In fact, you will always feel like something is missing in your life as long as someone is missing, and it's Jesus Christ himself.
