Nick CalandraHostCasey WosuHostBefore we get to our main topic, uh, before we get to the news this week, I just wanted to quickly touch on, uh, last week we, uh, Nick, and I talked about the story of the Saber Interactive CEO, and a former writer from the company, uh, having a very public, uh, back and forth over, over, uh, accreditation and, and AI use in the games and whatnot.
And then that writer, uh, Stella Sacre, posted, uh, over the weekend, and I'm gonna just pick a couple pieces of it, uh, saying, quote, "Last night, to my great surprise, I received a long email from Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch.
Uh, he apologized unreservedly for the awful way he spoke about me to the press.
That email's full text will stay between us." And then later on went to say, "I've been a firm believer from the beginning that I was telling the truth, and I think that now we can all agree that that has been borne out.
Matt expressed a desire to make it right with me, and at this time I don't really know what that looks like, and I'll have to take some time to sit with it, but I do accept his apology.
Apologies are simply too short in supply these days to spurn one when it's offered." And I thought that was a, like...
Good on, good on that CEO, good on Matt, good on, good on Stella for accepting that apology.
And in that spirit, also wanted to extend my own apology, 'cause I got pretty heated during last week's episode and made an admittedly tasteless joke.
And I let my anger and my frustration over ... everything in the world, uh, get to me, and then made that edgelord comment, which anyone who's, you know, watched this podcast or any of our other podcasts, uh, [coughs] excuse me, knows that that's not my kind of humor.
And as someone who's been podcasting for this long, that was 100% bad judgment call on my part, and so I just want to say sorry, and that I will do better going forward.

Uh, and those that decided to make videos and try to make a thing out of it for me, you can, uh, fuck off, because you make jokes about, uh, people being murdered-
