Fine Line & Whiskey Podcast Nick and Brian are back breaking down everything from this weekend in NASCAR. From race strategy and mechanical failures to the latest headlines around the garage, they…
Let's get into it, though.
into
the deep?
Yeah.
It's just no race went the full length all weekend.
It just I don't know.
And I was a little bit disappointed.
Yeah, I think like preceding that, right? So watching the Indy 500, which I felt like was a great race.
Awesome finish, by the way.
I actually used to enjoy.
Now I don't enjoy it anymore because F1 decided to change their schedule and move Monaco to another day.
Um, but I enjoyed that, like the motor sports marathon of like waking up early watching Monaco, which there's not a lot of passing, but still it's Monaco.
It's a bad-ass track to watch in the Indy 500, which is usually a pretty entertaining race.
Right.
and to your point like i felt like we didn't really get that because one f1 was in montreal that's kind of like whatever right it's not really anything that i'm gonna make a new tradition um and then the indy 500 which was a fantastic race was also delayed um and then we get to the coke 600 world 600 i'm like man i feel like they're they were going to race to the rain and that was kind of the purpose why people were just like putting it out there but it wasn't really that much of an entertaining race
no it wasn't and i i just i don't know it just felt i don't know it just felt
dull yeah i mean so obviously it wasn't the best of weeks to walk into it uh there's a lot of motion being charged into it but once the green flag dropped you're like okay we're in it now man like let's do this the longest race of the year let's let's let's put them on the on the dash you know what i mean and then we just never really got that yeah i
agree
