Kristine van DoorenHostIn the last couple of episodes, I have been talking about having to say goodbye to my husband.
The steps I began in letting God, my Father, bring healing were all about finding His truths in the God's word and my husband's example in enduring all kinds of trials was the path to follow.
For example, in Psalm 138, verse 8, "...the Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.
Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever." Forever means never ending, that I will continue walking in his ways.
In Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 it's written, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The Apostle Paul, while imprisoned, wrote to encourage the believers in Philippians chapter 1.
He says, And at the end of the chapter, he wrote, For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ, you should not only believe in him, but also suffer for his sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had, and now hear that I still have that.
