And for the past 20 years, I've been following him.
Now, what is the question? The answer is yes, Lord.
Now, what is the question? Is this how you live? In your plans? In your money? In your career? In your dreams? God is looking for a yes from his people.
His desire is that you would surrender every part of your life to him.
But you know how this works.
It doesn't happen automatically.
I wish it did, but it's not our default nature.
It requires us to examine our lives.
It's why God told his people, the people of Israel in Haggai's day, give careful thought to your ways.
And this is what we're attempting to do as a community through this series called Built to Last, where we're working through the Old Testament book of Haggai, and we're searching our hearts, examining our lives, and we're realigning our priorities to God's priorities.
But it raises a critical question for us all to consider.
Whose kingdom am I building with my life? We asked this question last week.
And what we say yes to when it comes to this question really matters because either you're saying yes to building your own kingdom or you're gonna say yes to building God's kingdom in this world.
And so can you just imagine though for a moment, revival breaking out in the Hudson area simply because we as a community got serious about saying the answer is yes, Lord.
Now what is the question? Because every kingdom endeavor, every kingdom building mission begins with a yes to God.
It requires a step of obedience.
That's what we're going to learn today from Haggai.
If you're not sure where it is, Mike, just cut it down the middle.
It'll get you pretty close.
Don't try to refute me, Ryan.
