Ep. 20 – Decoding QSL, From Paper Cards to Digital Confirmation

I was stopped in my footprints by one gentleman posting on our Discord saying he went back and listened to our episodes again.

That was, you know, it scares me that people even listen to us once.

once let alone go back and re-listen to episodes while they're waiting for the next one to drop so big shout out to ben for that also uh ethan down there in tennessee ko4 fx known as the fox i worked him out at a park and he he stopped his activation to chat with me for a second and thank me for the conversation with sebastian that we had a couple weeks ago and it was good to get him in the log as i tend to do when he's doing uh all sorts of poda there in central Tennessee where he's at.

So big two hellos there for sure.

So Jim led into it.

ICOM has lots going on and I do have a pre-order in for the ID 5200, which we should see in September.

I put my money where my mouth is for once and I do have it ordered.

So I'm looking forward to getting that in hand.

And the plan for that rig is to, become my primary mobile rig i have the id 51 in the 100 in the car has been in the car for i mean better than 10 years if not 12 um it's time for something new so the 5200 will be the primary mobile rig looking forward to getting a refresh out there so looking forward to that and looking forward to seeing um it's always fun to get my hands on a on a new rig we certainly will be bringing everybody an unboxing vid and probably a setup video of that at some point and have some good conversation about that.

And it looks pretty,
