The Astrology of June 8-14, 2026 / Venus and Jupiter in Cancer

It's a framework.

Uh, it talks about time, how we live time, but it's for us to open that time and discover, you know, how can we live this time perhaps a little bit differently each season.

So right now, we're in Gemini season.

Happy birthday, Gemini.

For all of us, it is a season to discover, to learn, to be curious, to speak, to write, to communicate.

Because Gemini, and I think I even said this last week, it's one of the first four signs of the Zodiac, the first four signs of the Zodiac really talk about the fundamentals of life, but also the fundamentals in how we express who we are.

So we're really early still in the astrological year, but we are, believe it or not, getting into the second half of 2026, which just sort of blows my mind.

How did we get here? Nevertheless, here we are.

And this week in particular, we have a planet, in this case Venus, that's going into Leo later this week, and it means that we're starting to get into a part of the Zodiac that is beyond these fundamentals.

Leo opens us up to the self and the world around us, but I'm sort of jumping ahead of things.

Uh, we also are coming to the end of a lunar month this week, so the, this is sort of the last week of the lunar month.

And so by the end of this week, it's going to be more about going inward, reflection, uh, dreams, intuition, and all of this is to prepare for a Gemini New Moon on...

Well, this side of the world, it will be late on June 14th.

I think it's, uh, 10:54 PM Eastern, so for most of the world, it will be June 15th.

We will talk more about the Gemini New Moon next week.

Uh, and then we also have Uranus square, the lunar nodes.

Uh, this is kind of like a, more of a backdrop, uh, something that I wanna talk about a little bit more in a few moments, but, you know, it's like we have the backdrop of the end of the lunar month this week.

We have the backdrop of Uranus square, the lunar nodes this week.

You're like, "What are the, what are the lunar nodes?" Um, and then we also have a Venus and Jupiter conjunction.

This will be on Tuesday, the 19th.

I know it's getting a lot of press, uh, uh, on the internet, and, uh, I'm just a little bit more grounded when I talk about Venus and Jupiter because I know everybody's saying it's the luckiest day of the year.

I, you know, I, I should hope.

So may, may June 9th be the luckiest day for you.

Um, I think at the very least, Jupiter and, uh, Venus together, they open us up to the beauty of life, the pleasure of life, the possibility of life, and maybe that's, maybe that's lucky.

Maybe that's e- enough for us to be able to open up to s- something within ourselves that maybe we haven't been open to.
