The Astrology of July 6-12, 2026 / Neptune Retrograde + Saturn Squares

It was a long update because we had a And that energy of Mars and Uranus and sort of the unexpected and maybe news or information that's still kind of with us, even though the conjunction, the exact conjunction was on Saturday.

So a couple of days ago.

One of the things about last week was that Capricorn full moon and I even spoke about it even the week before because we were really starting to see some Saturn energy come into the astrology and even though we have a full moon last week it's still part of the framework of the lunar month or the time that we're in so there's still this focus on saturn energy as we start the week namely we have today the 6th of july we have what's called a sun saturn square this is if i were just to draw a circle the sun is at one place on the circle and it's square saturn in aries so saturn's at 14 degrees of aries the sun right now is at 14 degrees of cancer that's what's called square 90 degrees And this is activating that Saturn energy that we saw last week, the Saturn energy, honestly, that I think we're going to see all month long because we are coming up to what's called a Saturn station.

Saturn will turn retrograde on the 26th.

of july so what's saturn and if you've been around these parts you know that i love i put love in air quotes because i think deep down inside nobody's really supposed to love saturn i just appreciate it as an astrologer i appreciate it what it does and i appreciate it how it really talks about time and and life and especially when i'm trying to work with a client and communicate about their own astrology i get a lot out of saturn so Saturn is this planet, it's more back in the solar system and it takes almost 30 years to go around the sun.

So 30 years to travel all of the zodiac and Saturn will spend anywhere from about two and a half to three years in a zodiac sign.

So for me as an astrologer, Saturn is always like the sort of the main hand on the astrology clock.

Where is our focus? Where is the time? Whether that is a collective time, whether that is a personal time.

And so since February 13th, Saturn has been in Aries.

And if you do the math, Saturn hasn't been in Aries since 1996, 1997, 1998.

And into the beginning of 1999, it finally left Aries in April of 1999.

So If you were alive back then, you're having something called a Saturn return to something specific to your life.

So that's why 29 years in a marriage or a relationship is, of course, a long time, but a relationship can have a Saturn return.

I don't want to get too off topic.

But Saturn really talks about where's our priority.

So collectively, Aries is our priority into April 2028.

And I'm thinking about it.

I shared some news last week about my father.

He's going to a hospice.

And for me, Saturn Aries means something about responsibility and duty and needing to put my attention and focus and maybe even feeling like the weight of this responsibility is on me.

I have a brother, but that's a whole other conversation.

And you may be experiencing Saturn and Aries in a very different way.

It just happens to be in my own astrology that Aries is something called my fourth house.

So it's not a surprise to me as an astrologer.

So life sometimes has moments where I like to call it capital L life.
