Jon FeatherstoneGuestSeanHostTriathlon Series,

And British sporting great Johnny Brownlee was on course to win the race and indeed the whole series.

But with just 700 meters to go, his limbs began to give way as he was overcome by this mixture of utter exhaustion and the heat.

The live camera showed him beginning to sort of zigzag around and to wobble and to look on the verge of collapse.

And instead of running past and going for the win himself, Alistair grabbed hold of him and steered him those final few hundred metres all the way to the end.

But at the end, Alistair unceremoniously shoves Johnny over the line so that he finishes in second place.

And I thought of it this week because it seems to me a great picture of what the Apostle Paul is talking about here.
