As you know, or some of you may not know, but just over two years ago, we lost our son, Jaden.

It's reframed the way, the well from which we minister from and the last two years have been, you know, no doubt the hardest two years of our life.

For those that don't know, Jaden was a part of this church, especially early on, obviously as church planters, as a little child he was in here, then as a teenager here, and then as a young adult here.

And he's actually the small group leader where Lachlan Holmes and Jeremiah, and was Isaac in that one as well? A little bit.

But a lot of the crew now you see ministering here, they're all in Jaden's life group.

And it's only post his passing that I found out some of the things that they used to do because of my son.

We spent four days in ICU with Jayden before he passed away up here at Gold Coast Hospital.

And you learn a lot when you're in that space, that what I call now the sacred circle.

But it also gave us an opportunity to go, hey, this happens to statistically one in two Australians in their lifetime will have an encounter in an ICU, whether themselves or with a loved one.

So we created Beautiful Crazy, which thoughtfully made canvas tote bags with essentials in them that hospitals now give out to families.
