And so we started a business together, an online business, and it started off as a skateboard business, a skateboard brand, because I didn't really know what to do yet, and I just wanted to do something I knew something about, so I got into skateboarding.

First thing I did was I looked up skateboard dropshippers and there happened to be back then a website called like skateboarddropshipper.com or something.

Um, and it was like some kind of third party, uh, distributor or something like that.

And, um, their margins were so slim and I set up a website or I bought one of their like prebuilt websites or whatever.

It was very cheap, but it was very like unoptimized and it just had all their listings on it.

Um, and it was like the skateboards were marked up so that there was some margin beyond what they would normally be.

So like a skateboard that we'd buy at the store for 50, 60 bucks was like actually 80, 90 at the end of the day on this online store.

So I started making a skateboard hardware, skateboard decks, um, you know, some t-shirts, like it's a bunch of rent stickers, like a bunch of random stuff.

I sponsored my friends and gave them free gear and we did videos and stuff like that.
