Like, the, the wish isn't the wish from a hopeless romantic, right? If they just said he's a guy desperate for a relationship, it makes complete sense.
But a hopeless romantic isn't going, "I wish Emma is obsessed with me and only me." Like, that's not what a hopeless romantic would be saying, right?
That'd be like, it'd be more akin to, "I wish me and Emma are happy forever and ever."
Right? It, it, it, it'd be more something along the lines of that, you know what I'm saying?
And-
It, it's the element sort of like desperation, and so that idea of, like, he is desperate to want to have a relationship-
