A self‑aware dive into the Dynasty Underdog show sheet, every segment, why it exists, and how it shapes the pod’s identity. A fun, meta look at the structure behind the show.
But I think, you know, we, we built tools or, you know, I'll say I built tools, but we, the scout card is definitely a combined effort.
And yeah, i think we just want people to use them because they're fun and they're cool tools and they are engaging and should enhance your dynasty experience in some form or fashion or help you with dynasty in some form or fashion so that i think that's the reason you know overall what about what do you think jake about you know this portion of the show
yeah i was thinking about this and you know with regards to how we actually engage with people these days Unfortunately, we've talked about this probably way too much, but our lives have definitely been kicking our asses over the last 12 to probably 18 months.
no in all seriousness he looks great he's just self-deprecating but no i think like we just don't have the same engagement as we used to on social media
our live forum on youtube and so really what the only way we can engage with most of our listeners is through our podcast and even like in our own discord it we're not not present, but we're not as present as we used to be.
The need to plug, I do think, has become some form of conformity where it's like you do kind of shout out your own work and you want other people to start engaging with the content, especially if you've built out other things like a website, like web apps, to see the work that we've put in, like into our prospect profiles or scouting.
And so for me, it really is just getting into this world of like, we've done the extra work.
We don't necessarily need or want monetization, but this is the best way in which we can basically showcase that work that we've done.
And it is such a difficult process because I do think that from a show perspective, it is a little...
i don't know it's it's just like one of those things yeah it just doesn't feel yeah it doesn't feel like us but yet it is one of those things where you hear on almost every single show this is kind of the intro right there's
there absolutely is a an element of like conformity to it but i don't think that's ever been the driving reason why we've done it it's really just kind of out of necessity like jake was saying like i would i would prefer to be in the discord much more often I really feel terrible because I feel like I haven't been in there at all, especially the last couple of days.
But also, I feel like that's annoying as shit too, right? Like not me being in there just talking normally, but me being in there and being like, hey, scout card.
