These Dolphins Trade Rumors Are HEATING UP... | Daily Dolphins News & Rumors

Let's talk about the Dolphins.

I've seen a lot of stuff happening this bye week, as I'm sure you have as well.

The news cycle gets a little drier and it gets a little bit more speculative during a bye week because there's no game that week.

We got to fill up the time slot and we got to talk about the team.

And there's been a lot of just dogpiling on Malik Willis, which makes sense.

He was awful in our last game.

We all saw it.

I talked about it on the channel.

It wasn't good.

It shook my belief in him to some degree.

But I think what's kind of being left out there is that it's all on the players.

And I think a lot of this could possibly be attributed to the coaching staff.

I know people are like, is Halfley the guy? I think realistically, just being totally realistic, if you were going to put everyone on the team up to a microscope and say who's doing a job, who's not doing a job, how have they been evaluated so far? I don't know if there's any singular position group as a whole that you feel good about or any particular coaching staff you feel like that coach is doing their job.

So, yes, all the blame is going to the players.

That happens.

They're on the field.

I get that.

But what coaching adjustments have you seen Coach Halfley put out there that you think, man, he's really coaching his butt off right now.

The guys just aren't performing.

Have you seen offense from Bobby Sloak where you're like, oh man, like that's crazy.

Special teams, defense, like what group do we feel like they're excelling above where they should be? I think you can honestly say this is as much on the coaches as it is the players.

I don't believe, yeah, Malik's not playing well, but I don't see a ton of creativity in the offensive play calling either.

I don't see a ton of extra development on the offensive line.

Either.

The defensive line, we talk about pass rush all offseason.
