Send us Fan Mail **Breathwork, Men's Work & Building Lighthouses with Josh De Jong** Josh De Jong is the newest coach on the Do Hard Things team…
I think one of the things for me, uh, in regards to like men's retreats, I never thought that I would do that type of work, like go to one, but it made such a tremendous impact.
I'd been in other groups before, but they were co-ed and there's nothing for the ladies.
I have come to learn that I think there's a there's an energy when it comes to men and women.
And there's, you know, when I if I'm in a group with women, you can feel the energy difference.
And I have found in my own healing and not having a father growing up, I used to kind of steer shy away from like men.
I felt I felt like I could always relate to women because I was always a deeper thinker and I felt like I could have.
you know, guys, most guys in our society are pretty, they don't know how to have deep conversation.
It's about football or, you know, Dick and fart jokes or, I mean, it's very, it's very surface level, but being a, being around men that have the capacity for that and to be around men that there's no ego and you can put your armor down and like be very vulnerable and share was so transformative in my own journey that It's why I'm so like, as I have developed my coaching practice, like I'm feeling called to do more in-person events.
So we've had two retreats so far, the summit, which was going to Kilimanjaro and then base camp, which was like an in-person.
They were both wildly successful, which is why we're going to continue from here, you know, to do them regularly now.
I'm looking, I'm in the hunt right now for a female coach to deliver that and figure that out.
