Bills vs Panthers Preseason Recap - Risers, Fallers, & More | DC & C1 Buf

So what for things you can't wait for, uh, what stuck out to you the most from a positive, just overall high level thoughts.

What, what stuck out to you the most, Anthony?

It's two, especially just like kind of watching it in person, not watching any tape, not watching it, uh, from the comfort of my couch and me, I made this joke to Colin earlier, like not being able to like pause everything and rewind fast forward in slow motion and all that stuff.

Uh, offensively it was, and some of the stuff we talked about earlier today when we were together, you know, the under center play action.

And then that specifically leading to like shots in the intermediate, potentially some stuff deep, like kind of using that to generate chunk plays I thought was notable.

And then, uh, You know, Carolina was missing their two starting guards today, if I'm correct.

Right, Colin? I think we talked about that earlier.

Yes.

And so devil's advocate kind of put that out there, but the bills run defense look good.

And that makes me really excited.

Cause like, that's kind of all, uh, you know, we were making the joke earlier of like, you know, I think you're only here for the, I feel like you're only here for the zip line.

Like I was only here for the defense today.

Like that's where I was.

Like I wanted, I was like, okay, DJ more cool.

The offense is the same.

They're a good offense.

We'll see what happens at left guard.

but they're going to run the ball.

Well, they're going to pass it.

Well, they've got their built for today's NFL.

Cool.

I was very much like, get me to the defense.

How much odd front stuff are we going to get? Who's at linebacker? What's the rotation.

But all of that was like subplots to the bigger story of, are they going to get like pushed around or what's the run defense look like? And granted Carolina ran some zone, which I thought played better into the bills as hands.

But I think it was literally the first play of the game.
