So to me – Can you develop these pieces like you said? Can you develop the TJ Sanders? Can Deion Walker take another step? What is Landon Jackson? Who is Maxwell Hairston? Does Cole Bishop become an elite safety in the league? Show me that when you get to the postseason, you can make defensive stands.

Show me in the postseason, and like you said...

yeah i don't know right yeah exactly i know we're going against d all four yeah i mean i would take that we gotta see if no you know no can win that but like this one's like hey maybe you can maybe you can take advantage of this one oh yeah like do the bills live in more in dime like are they using any base again like last year they've been such a nickel team under uh sean mcdermott went to more base last year like what kind of their personnel usage just i again I'm bullish on this defense as it goes along, and I just want to see kind of what it looks like early on.

Oh, yeah, Landon Jackson actually looked good in this preseason too.

Just one last little shout-out for the Bills defense.

That is the one I'm most worried about, especially after talking to Cole about the Texans leaning into this heavier personnel, which if the Bills want to match, they're probably going to have more of those five-man surfaces with three interior defensive linemen, which means TJ Sanders would have a big role in this game and play a large chunk of snaps.

He and Landon Jackson would probably... be switching in and out along with Dion Walker and at Oliver.

So if Sanders is unable to go or, or not a hundred percent, I think that that's impacting a potential starter against the formations and the personnel that the Texans are going to want to use.

And then that's just amplified by the fact that which we also touched on Jaden Higgins out for the year.

We get a little bit of something that we can coach our line on to say, hey, when they shift in this way, you can sort of, hey, talk to the guy next to you.

Because one of the things that I think might be underrated is Landon Jackson in this conversation because Landon Jackson's a guy who you could see what they wanted him to be when they drafted him.

And I thought it was stupid then.

Like, well, cause they, they wanted him to be AJ up and S a 2.0.

I've got a Dion Walker who's huge, but he plays a three tech game.

He's got some lateral agility to his game.

And I've got a big, you know, notice I have a big Landon Jackson who can just cut inside and eat a blocker for him.

I've got guys who can make plays and set up my interior defensive line to make plays on the outside where your tackles are too small to deal with them or your tackles just aren't talented enough to deal with them.

So does Jim Leonard let those guys do what they're supposed to do? Even the players individually.

Ed Oliver, Deion Walker, Michael Hoyt to a degree, Landon Jackson, I think we've seen, they're a little better at attacking through one gap, even though the defense in general doesn't lean towards that.

So that's another part of what I'm going to be watching for when we get to Sunday.

And like you said, the rest of the season.

Um, so they got two pretty good defensive linemen in Oliver and Walker, and then they're not super high, maybe potentially on Sanders.

And then the backups, Dwayne Carter, Greg Gaines, and then Landon Jackson's improved.

He was more of an edge, but now he's a tackle.

And, you know, talking with Anthony, he's basically saying like pretty much like a majority of the guys on their defense are question marks as to if they will fit in this new scheme.

Dorian Williams, Terrell Bernard, we're going to see Caleb Elam's or.

But I want to see how some of these younger defensive linemen, Landon Jackson, TJ Sanders, how they make an impact.

Yeah, the tackling is a big thing.

We have talked about that kind of a number of times throughout the season with this team of just how it's been a focus.
