We talk the transportation changes at Walt Disney World and help Mr D plan out his first trip to Disneyland Paris in over a decade
But Ryan, you had a, obviously there's a big new story going around that you want to dive into.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think it's rolled out for just over a week now where the bus and boat situation at Disney Springs has obviously changed, whereby if you're not staying on site, so that basically is at any Disney resort, you can no longer get a bus or boat from Springs into one of the parks or into one of the hotels along the river, which is...
Riverside, French Quarter, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, and the Treehouse Villas, I think.
That's all of them.
And I talked about it a couple of weeks ago, I think, about Trader and said, I think it's a positive.
And Donna was kind of on the opposite side of things.
On this show, I think it'd be good to just...
I've looked at some of the...
the recent footage and opinions that are going around.
And it's incredibly negative from the people that aren't staying on site, which you'd expect.
But everyone that's staying on site is saying it's been absolutely fantastic and more so The knock-on effect on queues for beignets, I think, is a big one.
They've been reduced drastically over the last week or so.
The queues for the boats seem to be reasonable, so you're not waiting at the end of the night at Springs, or during the day, you're not randomly waiting for 40 minutes to get back to your resort, and vice versa, getting into Springs.
And people were just saying it's a much more pleasant experience, which...
Ultimately, whether Disney have made this decision to cut down on cast members at Springs or purely off the back of guests' complaints, it seems to be going well for people staying on site, which I only see as a positive.
So have they done anything with the bus area at Springs then? yeah they sort of cordoned it off have they so because it used to be you could access it from different points
yeah so it's it's it's at the front it's still at the front where it is and they're not what they're not doing is scanning up your magic band or park ticket or key to the world, whatever you've got at every bus stop.
It's before you get into all of the bus stops.
Right.
A few cast members with some umbrellas that are just scanning, scanning you as a group.
So, you know, when you get the extra magic hours in the morning and you have to scan one in your party.
Yeah.
It's like that basically.
Which makes sense.
