Blake GoceyHostYeah, I think, well, the easy way to sum it up is I think short form is kind of the meta right now.
I think that's kind of the new meta that no one's really, at least like in the YouTube indie sphere, I think there's not a lot of like conversation about.
So I think that's kind of what motivated to me to like wanna do this talk is like talk about the new meta.
I really think there's a new meta It's a little bit maybe kind of cringe to say, but there's a really good way to ramp up Wishlist fast.
And it's kind of, I did a kind of a combination of what Chris Zukowski recommended for like, you know, doing like a social media hell month before even like making a prototype of the game.
and making a trailer that is somewhat of a video prototype.
doing the kind of standard formula of like building up some short form content to try to get some like a million views on my own videos just by like on my own YouTube channel.
And then that IGN featuring kind of like networked out into like a bunch of other people picking up the game.
other syndicates kind of picked it up and then shared it via short form.
So I think there's a lot to be said about this kind of new short form meta, not just with that beep, that's like one part of it, but also like this, this other half that a lot of publishers are doing now, which is like kind of, You know, having this network of influencers and having them make short form content, either paid or unpaid.
But I think unpaid is still much more viable than just paying influencers.
I mean, you can do a combination of both.
But yeah, I think there's a big unspoken of meta that even Chris Zukowski hasn't really featured or talked about yet that I think is going to be kind of up and coming.
And people are going to start hearing a lot more about it.

I'm so excited to talk about this because like you said, it's a little bit like I've seen maybe kind of whispers about it.

I saw, I remember just one conversation on Jonas tie rollers podcast where someone used shorts as a strategy, but overall, yeah, the short form content has not changed.
