When you worked for Procter & Gamble, was that always in the UK or did or did you move to the US while you were still working for them?

We used to come to Cincinnati for training and various projects and things like that.

But then what happens at P&G is the intellectual property, some of the things I described to you about marketing and brand building is very resellable in the employment market.

So I was able to resell that initially as consulting, joining another consulting firm as a co-founder and then establishing one of my own, before I went to Silicon Valley.

So that system we're talking about right around the turn of the century, 2000, global branding was still an interest for companies that didn't have the history of P&G, a lot of technology companies, a lot of other kinds of companies.

But didn't they have non-competes? They're the kind of company I would have thought was all over non-competes.

Yeah, we didn't compete with other consumer packaged goods identified companies that are direct competitors.

And I was in California by then, and non-compete clauses are not effective in California.
