But they announced the participants as JBB, Bryson Howard, and Cam Williams, and I was sitting there and I was depressed 'cause the only guy I wanted to see in a dunk contest was De'Ron Rippy.
And then he had a s- you know, surprise guest appearance, and it was like, whoa.
We knew...
We, we've seen the highlights.
And then coach, uh, Dildy, who was on, who was commentating this game, which I thought was a cool wrinkle, I don't remember if they did that last year, he said he was a little bit banged up in practice and so he wasn't, like, at 100%.
So what does he look like at 100%? Because he still [laughs] looked pretty explosive out there.
And with- With Rippy, and we're gonna get into this, there's a lot more to his game than just dunking.
He is a complete basketball player

And, and we'll go through the whole scrimmage, but, um, so if you wanna bring up Rippy and his explosiveness, then I'm just gonna say the takeaway for me was Sebastian Wilkins.

I- you know, you wonder during scrimmages, how hard will they play? You want to avoid injuries.

They limited the game to, you know, whatever, 10 minutes and the first to 28 points, which by the way, Rippy hit a three in order to get to 29 points.
