Um, and you know, him just being one year older I think is only gonna help his case there.

But rounding out the top 10, Tyler Tanner is in second, Patrick Ngongba in third for Duke.

That's gonna be one of the maybe the biggest, like, whoa, uh, players that's gonna be on this list.

But, um, my model has loved Patrick Ngongba for a long time, and I think he could have a big year in a larger role for Duke.

Alex Condon for Florida in fourth, Silas Demery fifth.

Thomas Hauk, another Florida player who has been, uh, for some gonna be the preseason National Player of the Year comes in sixth.

So I thought the appropriate way to unveil the top 30 here was to do it in tiers based on teams that are grouped relatively similarly, and this kind of gives a much better perspective of how these teams are really separated from the rest of the pack.

So we're gonna start with the top three teams here in what I'm calling tier number one.

Couple random things for you this Wednesday from the world of sports.

Let's start with former Duke basketball star Jay Williams, who's had a nice career, by the way, as a basketball commentator.

Jay, of course, was the kid drafted by the Chicago Bulls, had a real nasty motorcycle accident throughout his NBA career.

I happen to like him a lot.

That being said, Jay Williams kind of revealed what's behind the big wall of fun there, and it's a little guy acting as the Wizard of Oz.

You never want to reveal what's behind that wall.

And Jay Williams acknowledged that when he went to Duke, There were bags of cash that exchanged hands.

That's how guys like him, you know, great high school players who are good enough to one day become pros pick a school like Duke.

That's why college football's the best sport there is.

Uh, college basketball, John Scheyer of Duke.

By the way, the bloom is a little bit off the rose.

Jay Williams on a podcast or on a something with, uh, that big Ndamukong Suh, talked about how everybody participate in getting duffle bag full of cash.

Look, I've told you, Duke didn't do a duffle bag full of cash.

Duke did it with private equity firms.

Duke did it with moving guys, getting jobs for parents.

There was a big article in the Louisiana Babe Biscayne or whatever that got squashed somehow some way, but it's pretty telling.

The history of Kentucky basketball, Duke basketball, like he heard of it, but, you know, doesn't know the ins and outs of all of these schools.

So it was fascinating talking to some folks around Lewis after the fact about how he's just kind of walking into all of these official visits where it's kind of up to the coach and the program to sell like, hey, you know, nothing, the blank slate.

You have known nothing about any of these schools.

And like heard that, you know, he was out at California Berkeley and he was just like, I love how this camp campus is, you know, there's just rolling Hills and the Berkeley Hills are, uh, are so fascinating and it's just such a beautiful site.

And it's like something that a lot of people, you know, 17, 18 year old kids would never look at the landscape of wherever the city they're in or whatever, but he's just viewing it from such a unique lens because it's all brand new to him.

There's like, there's no difference in terms of tradition and history between, um, Baylor basketball, Providence basketball, Cal basketball in Kentucky, outside of just the general knowledge that, hey, Kentucky puts pros in the NBA, Duke puts pros in the NBA, yada, yada.

So what have you heard about what he's looking for? And does Kentucky have those things for the obvious BBNers that are wanting Lewis to make his way to Lexington?
