This Is A GAME-CHANGER For The Cubs... | Daily Chicago Cubs News & Rumors

So, I don't know if you guys have been watching the World Series.

I don't watch it like all nine innings intensely, but I do check my phone and I see updates and I try my best to catch big moments if I can.

and the milwaukee brewers are up 2-0 on the rays and they've both been really excellent games i mean three to two in the first one five to four in the second one we know the rays and brewers kind of mirror each other philosophically speaking and obviously in execution as well they both know how to scout they both know how to develop and that is why they are playing for their first title in this series in 2026 the a the rays had the best record in the al The Brewers had the best record in all of baseball and you know Cubs just hired the Steve Miller from the Rays so hopefully he can bring some of that juice and intelligence to the Cubs organization as well and you know it's just a really good thing to see.

It's counterproductive to what the baseball players want to accomplish with the CBA, but in terms of pure baseball, like I watched last night as Cooper Pratt gave them the lead, and I just liked what I saw.

He battled.

He had a bad swing in there.

And then you know what? He just lofted over into right field for a soft single to give the Brewers a lead.

And it just kind of feels like the Cubs don't know when to not try to do that.

And I don't know if they're just trying to hit home runs all the time.

I can't fathom that that is possible.

It just feels that way to us fans.

But either way, it was really fun to watch the Brewers and Rays go back and forth in terms of who executes better in the moment and takes advantage of the moment.

And so far, it's the Brewers and they're up 2-0 and they're seeking their first title.

And honestly, it kind of looks like it's going to be their year.
