Starting with crypto jobs, I think so often the conversation around making money in crypto has to do with investing or trading crypto as an asset, right? But there's actually a whole workforce that is spinning up around crypto.

To do so, I'm going to share some common myths about crypto that I want you to debunk with some facts.

Yeah, look, this is one we hear a lot and a lot of people picture crypto hiring as a room full of coders living in Silicon Valley or finance bros living in Miami, but really it couldn't be further from the truth.

The reality is that crypto employment is much, much broader and it spans a full range of regular jobs.

And I'm talking lawyers, customer support reps, operations managers, accountants, marketing and salespeople.

So the crypto industry really relies on hardworking folks in all of these roles and across a range of different professions.

And admittedly, before I got to know about crypto and started working in the industry, I thought that too.

And we do know that crypto is creating jobs coast to coast, but also all across the country in every state, which we'll get into lots more.

But let's talk about myth number two, which is that crypto jobs are mostly concentrated in Silicon Valley.

Yeah, look, Silicon Valley sure gets all the headlines, but the map of crypto-related jobs actually looks very different than what most people think, and probably what you thought before coming into the industry, and certainly I think what we expected to find when we started our research.

Look, the crypto industry does help create and support a lot of jobs in California, tens of thousands, and also New York, like you mentioned, 54,000 jobs there, but there are 27,000 jobs crypto-related in Texas.

There are nearly 10,000 crypto-related jobs in North Carolina and nearly 7,000 in Georgia.

And we really found a range of different occupations supported by the crypto industry all over the map.
