I'm listening to an old Gary Vee podcast because I was tired of listening to Diplo or Side Piece or something.

And he made a point I've never heard him make before, which might've been one of the most impactful things I've ever heard the guy say in all my life.

I used to have a sign over my office that said the best revenge is massive success.

Revengeful of what? shitty time in high school, people who looked over me, didn't think I was important, didn't validate me, more motivated to do things to beat my competitors from doing them rather than for like my own gratitude or self-advancement, have to get a bunch of money so other people see that I have stuff and think I'm important and I feel validated through bullshit reasons.

Then there's a small subsect of people who got really successful because they were just mission-driven.

They really invested their time in bettering people and leaving the things they were building in a better place.

You, in my mind, are a Yoda, but you also do focus on the money because you know how important that is.
