It really was home runs more than anything, um, because the games were, were relatively close throughout.
Yeah, it was, uh, pitching was there.
It was just, you know, a, a difference of timely, impactful hits, which I know we've spoken to death about probably over the last two off-seasons and trade deadlines that we've, uh, kind of really been needing, and it's been amplified more recently in the last year, uh, going back to the, this time last year.
But yeah, they had chances.
Um, and to our point offline, you know, um, guys like Finnegan have had overall a really good year.
Problem is the earned runs he's given up have been absolutely back-breaking, uh, runs where they've entrusted him to just basically get a hold, and he either loses the lead or it's tied, and then they, they're not, you know, then they're behind.
Uh, that's kind of killed them, whereas in May, they suffered through a lot of blown saves in the ninth inning.
They had the leads, they had the offense, and just the bullpen couldn't, couldn't hold it together.
