Mark MaynardGuestKyle KingHostOne of the things that I even mentioned in your introduction is this idea of teams don't need another pep talk.
What does that mean? What does that clarity piece mean? And why is that so important in this work?

And it's something that I say all the time that Culture is our beliefs and values in action.

So every action to me needs to clearly connect back to your organization's mission, purpose.

And if every action doesn't somehow connect back to that and you as a leader can't clearly identify This is why we serve our customer this way.

If you can't tie that back clearly to the greater mission of the organization, then you are leaving something out and you're, you're leaving people to guess what's important to you.

in an interview, the sort of clearer I can be by saying, hey, I know you're applying for a cook job or I know you're applying for a social media assistant.

I want to tell you what's important to me because If you're in, if you believe in that, we're going to be great.

And so rather than us wasting each other's time, let me just be clear with you what's important here.

And I have had people say, I am so glad you shared that with me because I don't think this is a good fit.
I think that a lot of times where I did a workshop a few weeks ago and we showed this case study and then we had different groups of people kind of identifying the problem and kind of going through the case study and then providing solution.
