They sit down next to me and I was like, "Yes! I couldn't have planned this any better." I thought, "I am staying here for the remainder [chuckles] of my time at the airport," got out my phone and started taking some notes.
These colleagues obviously knew each other very well, and I have no idea where they work.
But one of the colleagues starts off the conversation, and he was talking about two other colleagues who had also been at the conference.
But unfortunately, one of them had left their laptop in a coffee shop, had to run back to the coffee shop to get it, and was on their way to the airport.
He said, "You know, I call them Dumb and Dumber when they're together because the stupidness multiplies." Of course, at this point, it was really funny and they all burst out laughing, but I had to kind of maintain my cool because, of course, I don't want them thinking I'm listening to their entire conversation, even though I am.
