Like, for real, like, the biggest elephant in the room, in my opinion, is the minimum wage.
That's just, you know what I mean? And I know the minimum wage has gone up in certain states.
It has gone up or whatever.
But, like, here in Milwaukee and Wisconsin and shit, the minimum wage is like $7 and some change.
Since I've been working, and I've been working for over 30 years, the minimum wage has only been raised, I think, like two times since I've been working.
And I'm a grown-ass adult now.
50 damn years old.
That doesn't even make sense.
That's just basic shit right there.
You know what I mean? that's half the battle right there you got somebody making and i know everyone doesn't get like seven dollars an hour like you know for a lot of jobs they don't end up giving you that but they can there are a lot of places like these lower like you know like restaurants and shit like that like when i was working at uh when i was busting tables at carnivore i was making six dollars an hour y'all that was my hourly pay i was making six dollars an hour plus tips And if it wasn't for the tips, my checks would have been weak.
My checks without tips, because I used to figure it out because you see it on your check.
You know, the tips, your amount and all that, and then just the amount that you made just off your salary, your hourly wage.
Man, them tips would help my check be something decent.
Without the
tips.
