EP 385: Free Pepe!!

Let's start with Ian Hill announcing his retirement from Judas Priest.

And this is a full-on retirement.

He's not going to sit in the background and play on the records, kind of like they tried to do with Glenn Tipton.

And that leaves us down to, I know Rob Halford's not an original member, but I think we consider him

part of the core four.

Of course.

But here's that same story again.

And his reasoning is sadly relatable.

Arthritis.

He's in his 80s now, and it's just difficult to play.

I mean, it affects everything.

So I don't know.

It's kind of sad news.

But, you know, again, it's like one of those bands that it's like, They've done so much, have such a huge catalog, such a big history.

I don't know that it's necessarily the saddest thing, but I also kind of make it...

Even more so now, is it really worth just continuing as Judas Priest? I don't know.

Essentially,

it's the same thing we just talked about last week with ZZ Top.

It's one member left.

ACDC is basically, I guess, two members, but not one original.

You know what I mean? It's just...

I saw Priest for the first time in – I think in like 2016 when I moved out here or 17.

I saw him again last year and they're great both times.

But, I mean, I don't need to see him again.

And I came in late in the deal.
