I posted something the other day.

I was a big fan of Team Sports back in the day at Tidal.

Yeah, I'm that old.

But he's come back and he hasn't missed a beat.

Right, I'm

going to start because you two guys, obviously Tom, everybody knows how great music is.

I've seen Tom do his thing at Tidal when I used to go to Tidal, saw him there kind of thing.

So I knew what he was going to bring.

We can talk a lot about that.

And it's true for also companies like Tidal, right? We're trying to do the same thing for artists.

And my role at the company lately, at least, has been to focus on AI.

And I think our goal is exactly the same.

I was like, I don't know about this.

And Tidal decided to prank me the first time I tried to listen to the album.

Because they, instead of playing Here Come the Rome Plows First, it played Do You Compute First? Oh no! Which is fine, but But it plays this one opening riff for about a minute and a half.

And it about drove me crazy.

I've made some changes because, you know, you had to correct for this, that, and the other thing.

And then they played for me the final versions that would maybe be divvied up to go to either, this is going to vinyl, this is going to digital, this is going to Spotify or Tidal or Qobuz and so forth.

And it's amazing how much better the original recording before any of the process and all this other stuff sounds.

And I'm just like, Why can't we do more of this? And, you know, I sent you an email with that Rolling Stones song where the Rolling Stones actually make a mistake and they, you know, they laugh and joke and they start over and keep going.

So we're in the same world at a certain point.

Besides the future stuff that you're working on, is there anything you can tease right now that, you know, you're releasing or anything you want to?

Well, if people are on Tidal and stuff like that, I will be releasing two new titles that are on Guilty Pleasures, actually.

So it appears that public figures are having artist profiles created for them on Spotify without their consent and having hundreds of AI-generated music tracks uploaded.

In a follow-up reel, they also found that the same issue is happening across nearly every other streaming platform, not just Spotify, so including Apple Music, Amazon Music, and even Tidal and Qobuz.

Now, I went and searched several of the artist profiles that they mentioned, and it looks like the AI music has been removed from them.

So I can't necessarily verify this, but I think it's very likely that plenty more of these cases probably exist.

It's going to be on Spotify.

It's going to be on Tidal.

It's going to be on YouTube Music.
