The Faith and Patience of Joshua and Caleb (1)

We have been examining the testimonies of the saints of old, not as mere history, but as living instruction for our generation.

Last time, we considered the testimony of Moses and the pattern of preparation, character development, and power with character that God worked through his life.

Today, we come to two men whose story is inseparably linked to Moses.

and whose example is perhaps the most urgent and personally challenging word we can receive in this prophetic hour.

We come to the testimony of Joshua and Caleb.

Before we enter the text, we must set the prophetic context, because without it, The story of Joshua and Caleb remains simply an inspiring tale from ancient history.

But we are not here today for inspiration alone.

We are here for instruction, for transformation.

and for present truth application to our own lives.

The year 2026 marks the beginning of this third prophetic day.

A Kairos moment in which God is rising to raise his church into a new dimension of his glory, power, and maturity.

The latter reign that Hosea speaks of, that end time outpouring of God's spirit, is reserved for a people who are being perfected in love and pressing on to know the Lord.

It is reserved for people who have a different spirit.

And this is precisely what the testimony of Joshua and Caleb is all about.

At the most critical moment in Israel's wilderness journey, two men stood out from their entire generation because as God himself declared, they had a different spirit.

Today we must ask ourselves, do we have that different spirit? Are we ready to cross over into the fullness of our inheritance in Christ in this third prophetic day? Let us go to the word.
