Scott, you were on our podcast about five years ago, I think, when the most recent pediatric sepsis guidelines were published.

And we had you and your colleague, my division chief, Dr. Fran Ballamuth, on talking about sepsis.

Seems like you've been pretty busy lately, both in a research standpoint, and we're going to talk about that.

So since 2023, I've been at Nemours Children's Hospital in Delaware, previously AI DuPont Children's Hospital.

I'm the division chief of critical care here, as well as the vice chair of research for the Department of Pediatrics.

And you've obviously been continuing your sepsis research over these past years also, correct?

I moved my lab here, which studies mitochondrial dysfunction in pediatric sepsis, and I've continued my clinical and translational research, including completion of the PROMPOLIS trial with many great collaborators at CHOP and many other institutions.
