Yeah, this is a really deep story, and there's been Canadian intelligence reporting on it.

Canada's former Liberal Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien, is part of the Desmarais family through marriage.

One piece of data I've reported on is a Canadian intelligence report said that the Power Corporation, again, with Jean Crescian involved, was in a business relationship with CITIC, which is a Chinese intelligence front company, which invests money around the world with elite business people.

And so this is a fundamental sort of business relationship between the Power Corporation, Demre family, and the elites of families like the Bo Xilai family.

The fact points are incredible, but the real issue here is there's something called the Canada-China Business Council, which was started by the Power Corporation back in late 70s or early 80s.

This is a pro-Beijing business lobby, which has become basically fundamentally important to whoever is liberal prime minister, sort of, this is Canadian power politics, has the backing of the Canada-China Business Council, which is run by Power Corporation.

He's a professor and a historian, actually a former Canadian national security analyst.

And he's got chapters where he reveals that the Canada-China Business Council was partly started by a an operative from a Canadian university by the name of Paul Lin, who Canadian reporting says was part of a Chinese intelligence influence operation targeting Pierre Trudeau.

The reasons for that operation were to have Pierre Trudeau, it looks like, open relationships with the CCP and give Taiwan the boot.

And so all of this surrounds sort of these liberal prime ministers, many of them from the Montreal area, Canada-China Business Council with the Power Corporation and its direct current or former business dealings with the elite of the CCP.

You can't make this stuff up in Hollywood, but my assessment is this business family and the related networks have been under sort of CCP, United Front Work Department sort of influence for decades.

And they're very key in both promoting or some would say selecting Liberal Party leaders.

So let's take a step back and say, what's going on in Mark Carney's trade negotiations with Washington? Could it be possible that the people that back him, the Canada-China Business Council, are talking to China at the same time? And I've done analysis at the Bureau that suggests, indeed, that's what's been happening.
