**The Chicago Bulls cannot simply wait for Nic Claxton to return and expect everything that went wrong against Toronto to disappear.** On today’s **Chicago Bulls…
The Bulls, of course, lost by 43.
That's it.
And I want to be clear here.
Nick Claxton is not going to fix the problem.
He's just not going to fix the problem.
Daylon Swain isn't going to long going to fix the problem.
Because I want to start with what the numbers tell us in this game.
The 27 turnovers.
35 points off turnovers.
It's hard to be in a game that your team is turning turnovers into that level of points.
It just is.
That's regardless of anything else that happened yesterday, is that turnover margin is going to absolutely put the Bulls behind the eight ball.
It's always going to.
And so when you look at that, the Raptors beat the Chicago Bulls 34-13 in fast break scoring.
Keep in mind, us, we're supposed to be a more high up-tempo transition team, and they beat us on the fast breaks.
So you pair that.
They had 35 points off turnovers.
34 points on the fast break compared to our only 13.
Now remember how those categories overlap as well.
We're not adding them together and saying 69 points from turnovers and fast breaks because, no, some of those fast break points came off turnovers as well, but it's how they fit together.
So when you look at it, the offense has to take responsibility to the defense.
That's just the reality of it.
When you say that the offense suck, but then say the defense suck, sometimes, and a lot of times, those are connected.
